Jim Good to see the mail is working. I went to Atlantic City for our 30th wedding anniversary. We stayed at the tropicana only because they had a show starting on 9/30 "Swingtime canteen musical". They told me it was a misprint and the show starts tonight. We had a nice time and looked around for a real find restaurant. Like someone told me a couple of months back the place is a ghost town in the winter (it's only 10/1). The first restaurant selection was overlooking the ocean and served the finest steaks. It was closed except for the weekends.... My first thought was somebody told me this place closes up in the FALL-WINTER-SPRING. It still took 1/2 hour to check in and they told me this was the slowest its been. Anyway, my thoughts go to RAIN and how they make money in a casino unless it's busy and has a lot of attractions for the children? At least if they were going into king of prussia mall they wouldn't have had traffic all day long. My young adults went to the woodfield mall last saturday to eat at RAIN. They couldn't get in, the line (wait) was long. This was at lunch time and on a Saturday I would hope it was long.... Last for STRATOSPHERE (if any investors on this thread) Casino Player A magazine for gaming enthusiasts has four pages on Strat. great photo of the tower at night over looking vegas. The article is all positive. Best place to gamble...best value.....no more exciting view... It tells us experienced gamblers how strat how reduced the odds of winning in our favor. Gives some background on the tower and that this is the best in vegas. ALSO MENTIONS RAIN COMING. AND A SECOND SPECTACLE --A MASSIVE AQUARIUM. see ya John
