Their IR guy, Goolsby, said that's one path they might take to get on NASDAQ; the others being, I guess, for them to buy a listed shell co. & the other to just have their share price to somehow levitate to $3.

I remember all the hullabaloo over SCMS possibly doing a reverse split: they didn't; the stock tanked anyhow. So, if it'll help the co. get access to funds and allow mutual funds & other large-money entities
(who're constrained by rules against buying penny stocks) to buy the stock, bringing added liquidity & allowing the story to get out... hey, why not?

After all, this isn't some high tech concept co., we're supposedly in the midst of explosive earnings growth; it might be a good
thing to make the co. more visible.

And look at Amerac; an oil co.that did a reverse split to get listed;
they're doing fine.
