However, I must say that Israel appears to be it's own worst enemy at this point. They are divided within their own country, and insist on policies that are against international law, and their own long-term best interest IMHO - i.e. the occupration of Palestine.
They need to separate, get the settlers out of occupied terriroty (by force if necessary), have real security between their state and the new Palestinian state, and stay defensive.
If anyone crosses into Israel proper, they can blow bloody hell out of them, and a few hundred of their compatriots. Otherwise, stay on their side, play nice, and try to cooperate where possible.
Just the tsig plan anyway...
