Hi Mark, AMAT has so many different products that it manufactures and sells and it makes news releases all the time. It could be something as mundane as the ending of production for an aging equipment set that is being phased out and replaced by its' newer technology platforms. AMAT likes to make a major technology announcement about every 6 months or so. Don't have a clue, really. Rumors come and go, wait for the news release. Regards, BB
