From lack of knowledge, I used too broad a brush in trashing the Sunnis. Yes the Kurds are mostly Sunnis, but of a different breed or segment, and for good reasons have no use for Saddams followers. Treated so poorly only 6mm out of 23mm still live in Iraq. 2 mm now in Turkey and 5mm went to Iran. I dont really know this stuff, like a NYT reporter would. I just read it off the web. globalsecurity.org Iraqi President pretty cool cat, trying to minimize religious differences and keep tensions down. Sig
