Bush-Cheney openly lied to the UN, and about the UN, and all their followers did the same. From 2002-2004 especially we had to listen to a whole litany of lies, exaggerations and demonizing coming from the Bushie far right against the UN.

This really hurt our country and military because we badly needed the UN in Iraq. It was also dishonest and hypocritical because Bushie corporate cronies in Iraq are ten times as corrupt as the UN middlemen who dealt with Saddam. Over ten billion dollars is missing in Iraq, and companies like Halliburton gouge US taxpayers every single day. Also, as much as 25% of Iraqi oil is stolen before it hits the market and Cheney's people are in charge of that.
