The former Virginia senator will announce that he's dropping from the Democratic race at 1pm Eastern today, reports Politico. As for a rumored run as an independent, we'll have to wait and see. The New York Times doesn't expect that to happen, and Fox Newspredicts that Webb will "take some time after his announcement to talk with people from across the political spectrum before making a decision."
