Rev 12:7-13
7 And there was war in heaven: Michael and his angels fought against the dragon; and the dragon fought and his angels,
8 And prevailed not; neither was their place found any more in heaven
9 And the great dragon was cast out, that old serpent, called the Devil, and Satan, which deceiveth the whole world: he was cast out into the earth, and his angels were cast out with him.
10 And I heard a loud voice saying in heaven, Now is come salvation, and strength, and the kingdom of our God, and the power of his Christ: for the accuser of our brethren is cast down, which accused them before our God day and night.
11 And they overcame him by the blood of the Lamb, and by the word of their testimony; and they loved not their lives unto the death.
12 Therefore rejoice, ye heavens, and ye that dwell in them. Woe to the inhabiters of the earth and of the sea! for the devil is come down unto you, having great wrath, because he knoweth that he hath but a short time.
13 And when the dragon saw that he was cast unto the earth, he persecuted the woman which brought forth the man child.
Lee we know that satan was cast out of Heaven the first time millions of years ago. That was known as the katabole or the overthrow of satan. We also know that after that he still had access to heaven.
Job 1:6-7
6 Now there was a day when the sons of God came to present themselves before the LORD, and Satan came also among them.
7 And the LORD said unto Satan, Whence comest thou? Then Satan answered the LORD, and said, From going to and fro in the earth, and from walking up and down in it.
However,The war that is spoken of in Rev. 12:7-9 has not in fact happened yet. The following are various reasons that we can also know it is yet to happen.
1.Their place was found no more in heaven....V8
2.Now is come salvation...V10
3.The first time he was thrown out there were no brethren to accuse, since man had not been yet created...V10
4.This time when he is thrown out he will have but a short time to deliver his wrath....V12
5.This time iy is explained that he will come down to persecute the woman which brought forth the man child. ...V13
The woman=Israel the people of God....the man child of course is our Lord...Neither of these two were present the first satan was overthrown.
Also consider this, satan was sent back to heaven to be kept by Michael(In my opinion) behind Christ when Christ said:
Luke 4:8
8 And Jesus answered and said unto him, Get thee behind me, Satan: for it is written, Thou shalt worship the Lord thy God, and him only shalt thou serve.
And that is where he has been ever since.
He is cast out of heaven just previous to the second coming of our Lord. He is cast out at the 6th seal, 6th trump, and 6th vial.
So as to your question about being cast to eathh again...you are right... and his angels with him. It is also related to what Christ warned of when He said:
Matt 24:37-38
37 But as the days of Noe were, so shall also the coming of the Son of man be.
38 For as in the days that were before the flood they were eating and drinking, marrying and giving in marriage, until the day that Noe entered into the ark,
And also our brother Paul when he said:
1 Cor 11:10
10 For this cause ought the woman to have power on her head because of the angels.
Who are they as spoken of by Jesus in V38...consider this:
Gen 6:4
4 There were giants in the earth in those days; and also after that, when the sons of God came in unto the daughters of men, and they bare children to them, the same became mighty men which were of old, men of renown.
