Fast Track defeat ramifications ... never mind.

WSJ:

The fast-track setback barely even registered on Wall Street's seismic monitor. The Dow Jones Industrial Average slipped a modest 28.73 points, closing Monday at 7552.59. Stock and bond investors, for now, are far more concerned about the ramifications of Asia's stock-market debacles on U.S. financial markets than about the ripple effects of the trade proposal.

Clinton is now officially a lame duck.

Joke going around capital hill:

When Democrats talk about "The President" they don't mean Clinton, they mean [AFLCIO HEAD] Sweeney.
