If an investor really believes that WIND is a steal at this price, but has already spent all their money, they have a couple of options;

1. Borrow against the current shares (Margin) and buy more cheap shares.
2. Buy options to purchase WIND in the future. Long term options (LEAPS) are best.
3. Sell the current shares at a loss, and buy WIND options for maximum leverage.

These are VERY aggressive approaches, but if you are right they can pay off immensely. If you are wrong you can have a stupendous loss.

As another noter mentioned, if you have lots of gains on other stocks in 1997, you might consider selling WIND at a loss. Later you could buy back in, or use options.

Good luck !
