Thanks. A long post is not long when filled with relevant contents, like Yours.
I (still theoretically) looked at Java for a while and I like the concept. I'm an experienced SW Engineer and Mgr. as well. I can imagine that Java will be the development platform of choice for most types of applications. MS Windows_xy is no match.
This is a technical view. The question is, what will be the market view
should Java succeed as much as I expect it?
