>> Trump talks about his wealth all the time but if he had just put his inheritance into a stock index fund he would be worth about 5 TIMES what he is worth now.

I really don't have any idea what he is worth today.

Is it 10B? 5B? 20B? No idea. When your holdings consist primarily of real estate interests, the only way you truly know what the assets are worth is to sell them.

I do not know of any successful people who haven't faced adversity once or twice in their lives. And not having done so (Obama) is a pretty good predictor of failure, I would say.

>> Carson is all over the place on policy issues and he's a bit NUTS.

I think those who don't understand what he's saying think he's a bit nuts. But at the end of the day most of what he has said has been absolutely true and correct.

>> He won't get the nomination and he CERTAINLY could not win the Presidency.

I think it is foolish to rule out the smartest guy in the race, left or right. A few months ago Carson's name wasn't even being mentioned. The news casters would skip right over him as though he didn't exist. Today, he is leading the Republicans and polls show he is the Republican who could most likely defeat Clinton or Sanders, either.

Here's what you're missing: People are sick of this bullshit. The arguing, yip-yapping and carrying on between parties. People are sick of it. The division and corruption from the Left and the terrible congressional leadership from the Right.

I don't know if Carson can withstand the political slickness and charisma of Rubio, the wealth of Trump, or the family ties and lying of Clinton. Those are all fine attributes of politicians which keep them in jobs. But Carson is no idiot and if he can raise a little money along the way he could be running against Hillary. He isn't a liar, so that may be a problem. But that's a long way off yet and he is a really fast learner it looks to me.

Republicans need to start thinking pragmatically rather than ideologically idiotically or their PARTY will disappear.

The Republicans started out as the LIBERAL PARTY. Lincoln was NOT considered a conservative.
