Scot, One of the first things one learns in buyer school is never have a single source of supply....you may hang on high.
Now that is what happened to Dell. I hope they are getting parts(what parts there are) to compensate them for the hit their SP will take right quick now....unless White Knight Intel rides to the rescue before the release date of the last 1/4 earnings they will lose 1/3rd of their valuation in Feb?? And they will drag the whole sector down too?
I happaned to GTW as well and they recanted their articles of faith and became AMD converts.
I suspect this leakage and high voltage gradient in the notch is what is causing the problems. Elmer says "Fixed", where are the parts if it fixed? Did they use the windows 'rename' function and change 'broke' to 'fixed'??
