Sounds pretty good to me...Definately worth WSTL going down 1/8. Boy, can't wait for really good news and we'll see WSTL down around $7.

January 15, 1998 -- Westell Technologies, Inc. (Nasdaq: WSTL), SeWon
Enterprise Co., Ltd. and Korea Telecom jointly announced the signing of
a contract, selecting Westell's T1 SmartLink- Automatic Protection
Switch System for the Korea Stock Exchange Network.

The contract calls for Westell to initially deploy the SmartLink systems
throughout numerous Korean cities including Seoul, Pusan, Kyungki,
Kwangju, Daeku, Daecheon, Jeonbuk, Wonju, Chungju and Cheju. Westell has
also been selected to continue research and development toward the
installation of an E1 standards product. Korea Telecom chose the Westell
SmartLink system because of its significantly superior performance and
reliability, based on end-to-end, customer premises to customer premises
application.

The Westell SmartLink system is a fully automatic protection switching
system for DS1 circuits. SmartLink is used to protect T1 circuits from
failure due to situations like power outages or cut cables. The system
is delivered by traditional repeatered T1 circuits, High-bit-rate
Digital Subscriber Line (HDSL) circuits, fiber optic circuits and
microwave circuits. When a working circuit fails, SmartLink
automatically switches the customer traffic from the defective circuit
to a spare working circuit without inconveniencing the customer.

"Our SmartLink system installation for the Korea Stock Exchange is just
the beginning of what we hope will become a very long and mutually
successful relationship with Korea Telecom and SeWon Enterprise," stated
J. Nelson, Westell's President and COO. "The R&D we are beginning for E1
products and the viability of our many other telco access products,
presents Westell with much opportunity in this market segment." Other
Westell products include T1/DS1 Network Interface Units (NIUs), T1 Line
and Office Repeaters, fiber optic converters HDSL and analog Data
Station Termination (DST) units. Westell will continue to workout and
expand present applications for SmartLink with other Bell and non-Bell
Operating Companies.
