myGO.com Launches New Search
Engine, Free Email and Free Home Pages

MCLEAN, Va.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Jan. 6, 1999--myGO.com, the
fast growing web portal, announces the launch of its powerful new
search engine as well as the availability of free, web-based email and
free home page hosting at its web site, mygo.com (http://www.mygo.com).

With these additions, myGO is able to integrate into one site many of the Internet's most useful
features.

The myGO search engine allows users to search multiple search engines simultaneously, providing
users with integrated search results from the Internet's top search engines. Among those utilized are
the search engines of Excite (Nasdaq:XCIT - news), Infoseek (Nasdaq:SEEK - news), and AltaVista, the
search service owned by Compaq (NYSE:CPQ - news).

The search engine employs meta search technology similar to that implemented on the Metacrawler
site owned by Go2Net, Inc. (Nasdaq:GNET - news).

In addition, myGO announces the availability of free web-based email accounts. myGO mail allows
users to log into their accounts to check and send mail from anywhere; a service similar to that offered
by Hotmail, the mail service owned by Microsoft (Nasdaq:MSFT - news).

Further, myGO offers users the ability to create free home pages through its web-based site building
interface.

myGO expects to officially launch online auctions later this month. A beta preview can be found at
go2bid.com (http://www.go2bid.com). The auctions will employ a person-to-person format like those
found on the Yahoo (Nasdaq:YHOO - news) web site.

''From the start, the goal of myGO.com has been to serve as a gateway to the internet, offering users
quick access to essential information in a streamlined manner. User response to myGO has been
tremendous and our traffic continues to grow. myGO was founded as 'Your Start Page to the Web.'
myGO provides users with a directory of the web's best sites with each site meeting our stringent
selection criteria. The implementation of these new features will add even greater functionality to the
myGO site,'' stated Rusty Sandhu, president of myGO.com.
