WebTV WaveTop Channel is Coming

This is too perfect a fit, so there is absolutely no doubt in my mind that when the WebTV boxes are sold with Hard Drives, WaveTop will become a channel on WebTV's system. It's a shame the stock price won't benefit from this speculation until news comes out to confirm this. You can expect WAVO's stock to rise a good 10% just on that news release alone. Using WaveTop to distribute and upgrade software automatically in Windows'98 is certainly another given. I wonder if this feature will work for MicroSoft product, or if MicroSoft built this into Windows'98 in such a structural way, that it will become the standard way for ALL Windows'98 compatible software to keep up to date. What's fun about all this speculation is that it is so do'able given WavePhores architecture and relationship with MicroSoft, and so compelling given the need this fills; that it's practically inevitable!
