Ok, lets see. I want to buy an inexpensive laptop, maybe a Chrome Book. I just went on a vacation and used the iPad to make hotel and airline reservations along the way, and it was a real pain the butt. The iPad is great for reading and browsing, but data entry with one big index finger is no fun at all. And I want the notebook's ability to keep 4-6 browser windows open simultaneously to search for various airline/hotel pricing information. Keeping many browsers open on an iPad is feasible, but a bit of a pain.

So I'm curious if anyone has any recommendations for a notebook with the following characterisitcs?

1- Low price
2- Big screen
3- Thin and low weight

Those are the main objectives. These would be nice

1- Upgradeable to Windows 10 (when does this come out??)
2- SSD drive rather than disk drive for a fast boot up speed.

This is not important

1- Processing power (I'm just going to use it for browsing)
2- Hard drive size (I won't store much on the laptop at all)

If anyone has a suggestion for the recommended notebooks or Chrome books that meet those needs, I'd love to read them.
