Used ESET years ago when it was a top performer but quickly changed to others when it dropped in rankings ... for that reason as well as its very cumbersome GUI ... have no idea if they have improved the GUI but when I used it was so bad that users tried writing scripts in attempts to assist setting it up, frankly was a real mess especially for a for fee program.

Bitdefender has not only been tops in rankings for several years but is a very easy setup. I did use the free version for year or so and last almost 2 years I've been using the paid version. Being the best, free (or paid) as well as easy to setup and read (understand) puts it miles ahead of ESET IMO.
