I gave up on shorting this one. Fundamentals don't seem to play a part, if they get a downgrade like the recent one, based on price, they can just announce a few deals to be refactored into the calculation, they have no Asia exposure, they are at the forefront of the big new thing, e-commerce, people pay them or give them a cut to be on their site........arrggghhhhhhh!. I follow the internet stocks closely, and the bias has been downward for over a week ... but any weakness in this one is seen as a buying opportunity. I was sure that AOL .... and Amazon would have to fail .... but I've been soooooooooo wrong. They should carry a government health warning for short players. I believe that until the end of the month, when fund managers have dressed up their books, this stock will remain strong - it just looks so good in the portfolio !!!. After that ......
