You know, Jim, I had originally planned on selling off some shares of
every stock I own in anticipation of the Y2K fear. In other words, "the
only thing I have to fear is fear itself," especially the Y2K variety.
After getting mixed reports on people's attitude about Y2K, from the
irrational to the "don't care," I'm just going to sit tight, hold what I've got,
and ride out any roller-coaster effects of Y2K."...
I'm already 50% cash, even took more off the table today. Not only for Y2K reasons but for inflation fears.
Interestingly, I downloaded Microsofts Y2K fix for Win95. I noticed there was no "uninstall"....Now I'm scared to install it. Then I started to think about all the computers around the world with non compliant programs. It's scary. Then, there is the perception, sometimes the "perception becomes the reality"...
