Good idea. To expound on that, call the Info Tech Dept of each of the financial inst's you are interested in. On the Govt, call your local representative on the Federal, State, County and muni level to get the respective report on their Y2K "state of readiness". I hope many reading this do the same so we can "compare notes" and get a feel as to whether we are really headed for chaos. Mel
