As a point of reference, when I moved to Florida in 1994 the driver's license I was issued had an expiration date in 2001. Clearly not everyone has waited until the last minute to address this issue.

You can expect Barron's to print scary articles on this subject as part of the general millenial countdown, but I have yet to see any compelling evidence that anything that could be characterized as an "essential service" will be impacted by this.
