Good idea for a thread. I have been thinking about this idea. Yahoo Excite, Lycos have in the last few months become "media companies" no longer search or navigation sites. Rumors are amuck that Time Warner is looking at Yahoo. Yahoo is looking at Seek. We will see some sort of consolidation. The big "media" companies, TWX, NEWS, GE have to be sniffing around. Yahoo rules in Japan, and will be heading to China soon, I would guess. Jerry Yang is Chinese/American. Thanks for starting the thread. JK
