Poem written for and recited at a eulogy for Queen Victoria in India, upon her death.

Dust to dust
ashes to ashes,
into the tomb
the great Queen dashes!

Over the years I've come to believe that this was not a mis-use of words, but a celebration of the hopes for re-incarnation. I've been laughing at it for 18 years now.
