I don't know...maybe it just seems like more? 1992 was a vintage year, and 1996. The big question, as I understand it, is whether there will be enough vintage champagne for the millenium celebrations, because the 1996 really won't be ready. So the price of the vintage that is around will be high.

I haven't decided what to get for the millenium. Got to get this year's party over with first. Dom Perignon is certainly wonderful stuff.
