More fun...A more precise description of the bug in Money 97 Version 5.0...and another post but this is important... In analyzing five trades under Money 97 in which existing stock positions were increased...two of the trades resulted in incorrect gain/loss outputs in the performance section... So...the common factor for the two incorrect outputs were that the positions were increased in the same month as the original trade or there were two increases in position size in the same month...incorrect output of gain/loss resulted from that point forward...the two positions were both later sold but the sell trade does not seem to be a factor...A numerical or computational bug.
