UTEK responds more to actions/reactions of AMAT,Teradyne, etc -- unfairly. UTEK has a large portion of their business in thin film heads for disk drives. Huge cash. Great management. Their CEO spoke at Montgomery Securities tech conference in Monte Carlo or Cannes or somesuch last week, got quoted in Investor's business Daily and the stock popped mid-week. Comment regarded a 20 percent growth expectation, in defiance of same-day report of Dataquest that PC growth going into crapper. Art Zafiropolous founded and runs company -- knows what he is doing. Having said that, I sold some at 27 after buying at 19 less than six weeks ago. Hold, and brace yourself for any demand commentary-disctraction from Applied Materials this week or next. Also look for Hambrecht and Quist noise April 29-May 3 to effect everything and everybody for equipment makers.
