Jeff,
I agree completely about your 3-4 year time frame. And if the Bear visits this year or next,it will just create another oppurtunity to buy.Barring some unforseen disaster this sucker is going to grow like a weed. Then when there,s 50 analysts watching it instead of five,it will be time to say good-bye.
The nice thing now is that it is still a local Midwest phenomenon but once it opens in Disneyland,Las Vegas and Trump's Palace it's going to get alot of national exposure.Actually I hope Wall Street doesn't catch on too soon or it's going to be very tempting to take the profits and run.
So far the only beefs I've heard about the Cafe is that there's a couple hour wait for a table at times.I can live with that.
Exposure is growing already.I bought the May 27 Fortune today and there are two articles on venture capitalist's and IPO's.The second article (Pp.95-102) is primarily about RAIN and it's CEO and money man,Lyle Berman and the rest of the "Minnesota Mafia" .All very favorable I might add.The last paragraph begins with "What will be the next Rainforest Cafe, the next quixotic brainstorm that generates a fortune with a nudge from the Minneapolis moneymen."I imagine that article might have helped nudge the stock up $5 yesterday along with the split you mentioned.

Mas tarde,
Dennis
