Martin:
I felt that the meeting was pretty uneventful. I'm not being picky,
but the American car that you are talking about is almost definitely
European. Also, it was the President who was doing the talking.
As far as the broker was concerned, it looks like August will be the
big month. There is some overhang in the stock that will keep it down,
but come August it should be done and other news should have come in
by then.
16G business is coming along slower than expected, but the long
term picture for it is better than expected. Earnings this year are
not going to be that great, and estimates will probably come down a
little further, but I certainly hope that anyone in this stock is not
in it for 1996 earnings, and if they are, I hope they sell.
2nd half of 97 is when you will see the rest of the world recognizing
the story and overbuying the stock, but keep your focus on 1999. That
is going to be a VERY large year for their numbers. They already have
$120-150 mil in IT business on the books from just three contracts
with small car companies.
Be happy you're in early, and enjoy the ride.
