Peter, "I support the prohibition against naked shorting assuming that shorting un-naked is generally available - which it is not in penny stocks in the U.S." If you don't mind could you expand on this point a bit? I think you're saying that naked shorting is ok if other means of short-trading are not available. Even though it's my understanding that naked shorting is not legal on penny stocks either. Perhaps you meant something else. P.S. I think this is a good idea for a thread.
