Any chance of reviving and seriously populating this thread? I'm very keenly interested in taking some money off the table in the stock market and buying real estate while it's off the top. Surely I'm not the only one. Perhaps we can study different parts of the country and find areas that've been over-punished like I tend to do in the stock market? I'm not necessarily trying to stay local when it comes to real estate. It hasn't been clobbered out here. Open to any parts of the country and while I'd prefer just land if it's far away, I'm open to residences or commercial units if the cashflow is good, reliable, and management companies can be retained without putting too big a dent in profits.
