Eclipse Aviation signs partnership for airplane sales overseas kobtv.com Eclipse Aviation signs partnership for airplane sales overseas Last Update: 05/02/2006 1:19:12 PM By: Associated Press ALBUQUERQUE (AP) - Eclipse Aviation says it has entered into a partnership with a new company, ETIRC Aviation Europe, to handle sales and service for the Eclipse 500. Albuquerque-based Eclipse is developing the very light jet airplane, which is now in the test-flight stage. The twin-engine, six-seat plane will cost about $1.5 million. Eclipse says ETIRC Aviation will be responsible for sales, service and support of the plane throughout most of Eastern Europe and Russia. That includes all of the Commonwealth of Independent States, the Ukraine, Belarus, Turkey, and Cyprus. ETIRC Aviation also will coordinate all required certification in those countries.
