Mpeg is a type of tech. that allows people to digitalize a movie. And the mpeg2 tech. is a new level tech. that allows them to put a movie into a small standard computer CD. and with that CD you will get BETTER quality than a Full size laser disc. And this tech. will be very soon be available to the public, and IT WILL REPLACE THE LASER DISC, AND VIDEO-CD(very popular in foreign country), and Innovacom's MPEG2 decoder chip is the one that allows computers, and DVD(MPEG2) players to operate,and play the MPEG CD. And from what I see right now, Innovacom has one of the BEST chip available. And the chart of MPEG has been going UP, in a very steady scale, so I think this is a pretty nice time to pick MPEG up at just $8. Ed
