Larry, thank you for your observation which was reasuring after having read the previous opinion. I heard (but do not know for sure) that in IP switching Ascend is the leader and that IP switching does similar work as Cisco's main product but faster and cheaper. Is this correct and if so, would that not be a good argument why Ascend has staying and improving earnings ower? Thanks for your reply yours Fred
