>>>Has anybody anywhere ever had a broker error result in a PROFIT?

Yes, I have but the ratio has been very small. The way it has happened in the past was not being able to reach my broker or access an on-line account to enter a bad trade, a position that later on would go against me.

As an active trader what I care most is a fair playing field with "constant" set of rules. The market is dynamic but any trading system shouldn't be. I take full responsibility for my own bad calls and I wouldn't blame anybody else for my own mistakes. However, as many have stated, I wouldn't want to see any profit converted into a loss or any small loss turned into a deeper loss due late order confirmation.

Late order confirmation has been my number one complaint with EGRP in the last four weeks. My second problem has been down time in the last few days. I've got around that by using NDB. I have active accounts with Siebert and Waterhouse as well that I can use to remedy that problem so I am not too bothered by the down time issue as long as I am not trying to get out of an existing position that is going against me.
