Yes I use the AAII Stock Investor Pro database. It's gives access to 7yrs data and the weekly updates from the website via broadband (about a 40meg download).

I'm a buy and hold type so weekly updates are more than frequent enough for me. I usually only update about once a month. I often don't even use the disk as it's outdated by the time I get it in the mail - and if you've already updated the data online the only reason to install the disk is in case they've made some program updates.

I really like the AAII database. I probably couldn't invest without it as I've built my entire process around the database and ability to export data to excel for modeling trends and valuations. I'm not familiar with the Reuters product as comparison though. (Reuters is the data source for the AAII database though)
