I think that we are talking about apples and oranges--

In my mind front projection is not now considered main stream
and probably will not be any time soon with price points between
10,000-20,000 per projector.Maybe 1 or 2 percent of people own these now...

I think the market PJTV is trying to tap is like you say the high
end of the pear projection market which has has huge potential
with "home theatre"(that most people can afford), and as I have said
before, there will be plenty of people willing to pay 8000 $
for a rear projection tv with cabinet that would not be willing
to pay 15 to 20 thousand.

If its true that these PJTV sets can be displayed in storefront
windows because of ability to be seen in high lighted area
and the picture does not fall off at extreme angles from either side
be honest how many current rear projection sets can you say that about??
