Laura Coniglairo asked a rather long winded question that to me tried to highlight a point of hers rather than ask an actual question.

Here's my paraphrase of the question: "For three quarters now revenues on the hardware side has been short vs. the software side. Is that '99 specific or has hardware growth permanently slowed?"

Now this question/statement wouldn't be a surprise if it came from an analyst that was neutral or negative on EMC, but Laura has EMC on Goldman's recommended list.
