Report from the Red Part of a Blue State.

I just returned from my daughter's Holiday Show at school (Public). I was amazed. Allthough part of the show was nonsectarian (Preeschoolers sining Twinkle Twinkle), there were songs celebrating Christmas, Hannukah and Kwanzaa.

Songs included

Jingle Bells
Snow Angels
Hanukkah is Here
Rudolph the Red Nosed Reindeer
Celebrate Kwanzaa
Jingle Bell Jive

Nothing celebrating Ramadan.

No one appeared offended.

Bet they don't sing songs like that in the Seattle school system.
