Thank you for clarifying your opinion of her. So I was right when I said you where cherry picking your examples.

Sarah Palin != "the conservative movement", or even "the Republican party", and though I hold a much higher opinion of her than you do (not that it would take much to be "much higher") I don't consider who to be the intellectual highlight of conservatism.

You consider Sarah Palin to be ignorant and probably foolish. I could name liberals who are ignorant and/or foolish. But what would be the point? Looking for what you see as the weak examples of people who hold ideas, doesn't tell us much about the general body of people who hold the ideas, much less about the actual ideas in question.
