I was thinking about my sensational (blood) brother that died a few weeks ago and recall the time he had a lady come to visit his wife. Now his wife had just gone to the grocery store, so he told her and she said she wouldn't mind waiting---so Al invited her in and deciding he should be a good host, he asked her if she would care for some coffee. She replied in the affirmative. So Al sauntered to the kitchen got the coffee pot, took the lid off and noticed it looked nearly full, so he just plugged it in to warm it up. Finally, it was a-perkin away, so he got some and poured this lady some. About then, his wife got home and this lady and his wife seemed to have a fine visit. After she had left, Al's wife asked him what he had served her---as she seemed to sip it mighty slow, although she consumed the whole cup---Al replied: "Coffee" His wife went to the coffee pot, took off the lid and said: "This?" Al said: "Yes" "ALVIN---that is water and sos pads---I was scouring and cleaning the pot!" And she had drunk the entire cup! Good 'ole brother Al. The nicest brother a person could ever have. Have a sensational week, Steve. |
