Actually, ole Bill (like so many of his FOX brethren) would stand to greatly benefit (professionally, emotively, and in many others manners) from Hil making it to the WH.

YEARS and YEARS of higher ratings for their shows and the network, more viewership and higher personal incomes as the newly notable 'official opposition' would lie ahead for them. (Which possibly could help to explain why they have seemed so determined to crown her at every stage along the way....)

Interestingly, I noticed Newtie say yesterday that (if he received $30 million in contributions) he would be 'unable' to say no to a run for the Presidency --- possibly entering the campaign even as late as the very end of this year.

Do you think it's possible (with ever more G.O.P. elders tossing their hats into the ring...) that *no one* will win the G.O.P.'s 2008 nomination? <GGG>

(That they will divide the Party's base of supporters into smaller and smaller slices until no one guy can amass enough delegates to pull off a pre-convention win... that they will ALL have to wheel and deal in the backrooms at the convention to pull some kind of ticket together?)

Personally, I think that some of these folks have no real intention of gaining the WH... they are merely in it to position themselves for more attention (higher book sales, etc.) down the road....
