It's been snowing all day and right now. There's somebody outside shoveling the sidewalk for the 3rd time today plus a first trip with the snowblower earlier today. The apartment mgrs have decided it's easier to keep up up with the snow an inch at a time rather than wait for a foot of it to fall. Good for them. Now I have to take advantage of it and go do a load of laundry while I can. There probably won't be much shoveling on the weekend, but the snow is expected to continue to or through Monday with one to two feet accumulation here in Reno and eight feet in the mountains; up to 60 mph wind here and up to 100 mph in the mountains. My daughter is a sub rural mail carrier and has been getting a workout, 70 hrs/week ave since shortly after Thanksgiving due to mail volume and now the weather. She has to use her own car with a mileage rate, but the wear and tear will use up more than she gets for mileage. I hope the snow fairy is enjoying the havoc.
