When the late Princess Diana took up the cause: --- to abolish land mines-- .
the American press claimed it was "an unpopular cause."

Why? The American Congress would not support
the treaty that abolished land mines. Why wouldn't they?
Well, you tipped us off when you said that the United States manufacturers make money
when they produce and sells land mines. So, it is not in the interest of the
Bush Administration to abolish the manufacture and sale of land mines even though the land mines
maim and kill the children and elders of Afghanistan ---- the very people that we claim that
promised to help when we declared war on the Taliban..

Americans and their children sent money to help the Afghan people but it won't stop Bush
and Congress from abolishing the manufacture and sale of lane mines.Bush never
interfers with 'Big Business."
