Sammy...Given 40% of their quarter closes in April....knowing this, what sort of leverage do you think a purchasing manager for a Fortune 500 has in this kind of environment? Picture: its April 28th.....your Dell rep calls....you (the purchasing manager) knows he wants to book the sale by end of quarter....you know he's gotta make his numbers (Michael Dell promised)...You know NO ONE is buying anything anymore....

Answer: The purchasing managers are going to make that Dell rep grovel like no tomorrow....When push comes to shove, Dell always sacrifices margin for sales/share.

Margins go ka-plooey this quarter.
