Roy, I meant that my test may not be the same as yours because of different pre-existing data. Basically, do this - run QT with LOG99 command line parameter, recreate the problem, then email me STOCKS.LOG, STOCKS.INI, PORT.DAT and CACHE\SDATA.DMP files (ZIP them first)
I can then tell you specifically why your backfill is failing.

BTW, do Scottrade quotes work for you?
