I don't think a republican wins in 2008 unless he is not seen as a continuation of President Bush's policies and methods.

Any nominee will want to establish his own identiy...and not have the President say something like: "if you want to continue what we did for the last eight years, vote for Rudy (or Mitt, or Mike, or John).
