I downloaded the product analyzer and it works very nicely. The analyzer installs with ease just answer yes, to everything and follow the instructions on how to use in the readme file. It said that all my software was Y2K compliant and even pointed me to some free upgrades.

It also reads your bios date and vendor. With this you can check with the bios vendor and see if your hardware is Y2K compliant. Most have info on their web sites. Late 97 and forward hardware from reputable manufacturers is almost certainly Y2K compliant.

Watch out for el cheapo motherboards because they may not be compliant.
