Why Lehman may have dropped the target: how long before the shakeout in telcos settles down? Not until the bankruptcies have allowed the cannibalization process to proceed. Whack the share prices down, let survival of the fittest do the rest. Huge telco debt must be repaid, and it will get repaid. Until the economy starts proving its merit, and the telcos that can survive the interim can prove their profitability, the prices will quite likely stay flat. How long for the above scenario? At least 6 months ? If you can do better and can afford to take a 25% whack by pulling out of GBLX, why not? This I feel is the inspiration behind the 28$ price, and the 50$ price will be further out, so hey, call the close one and be safe. The fundamentals of the company, not the share price, determines how well I sleep at night....although good share price is wonderful, that can change overnight. Company fundamentals are less volatile, more predictable, more knowable.
