It is a very competitive business. It is a business. We are a capitalistic society. The top stories of interest to the public are usually shown on all news services. What do you want them to do, make up some different news?

Where have you been. All news stations have documentaries and investigative reports. Plus, you have Geraldo, O'Reilly, Hannity & Colmes, Chris Matthews, Inside Edition, Extra. My God, there's more variety than any mere mortal could bear. What more do you want?

They are just as good today, as they were back then, except today's news is more "live".
But....... there can always be improvements. With your interest in providing better quality news, why not try to get into the field yourself. It sounds like you would try to dig a little deeper, and go the extra mile to get a better story. They, and we, could probably use someone with your enthusiasm. |
